Privacy
Hapito publishes building records, not people. Reading Hapito requires nothing from you, and contributing to it is designed to expose nothing about you.
Browsing
No account exists and none is required. Hapito does not fingerprint your device, does not track you across sites, and runs no third-party marketing analytics. The anti-abuse check on submissions establishes that a request comes from a person, not which person.
Resident contributions
A resident submission stores the coarse information the survey asked for and nothing finer. Hapito never stores an apartment number, floor, entrance, or exact move-in or move-out date; tenure is recorded only as a coarse band. Free text is never published. Responses appear only as aggregates over a whole building, and only after passing the publication and privacy thresholds.
Building associations, property managers, developers, and other organizations never receive a list of contributors and never learn who submitted a response.
Consent
Every submission records the exact consent notice, survey wording, and survey structure it was made under, by version. Nothing is saved without consent, and consent covers only what it names: publication of aggregated resident evidence and, separately and optionally, a contact for updates.
A notification contact is stored separately from the request or response it accompanied, is used only for the update it was given for, and can be deleted.
Withdrawal
A contributor can withdraw future public use of a response at any time using the withdrawal token issued at submission. Withdrawal takes effect on public output immediately: aggregates recompute, and an aggregate that falls below its publication threshold is unpublished. The withdrawal is recorded as an event, and the underlying record is kept in a withdrawn, never-published state so the decision is auditable.
What Hapito never does
Resident data is never used for advertising, tenant screening, insurance, credit decisions, or profiling of owners or residents. Hapito does not buy resident lists, does not harvest contact data from public registers, and hosts no public resident profiles.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, request deletion or restriction, and appeal a decision through the correction routes; contributor withdrawal is one of the eight named routes.
